All good here Volvi, Just asking the Questions. I like to think that all is good and that the members arn't taken for the wrong ride. This sounds like an alternative that members would look into only because "Fairings" got back to us and answered the enquiries and ticked all the boxes.
Its something that I would now consider as an option.

You summed it up well Vellaterra. #CAS# suggested earlier that we should be going to the website to chase it up. I wanted Jennifer to answer the questions and tick all the boxes here on the forum before we proceeded. I was just to tired to think of a way to explain why, you summed up fast what would have taken me longer to explain.

Im glad to see Jennifer is up to the challenge and willing to provide 2 fairings (piece or full set?) for postage for review. No doubt there will be a bunch of people who will jump at that opportunity, however a consensus is needed as to who should do the reviews, its not a matter of first email in that qualifies. Not sure how best to approach this, but it ought to be discussed by interested parties.
Copper/Silver - The original, the rest are just copies.

This is what I was worried about, it seemed as though there were two takers and if I take them it'd be a bit contrived. What do you suggest we do? It appears as though both takers are established members of the community? They would be full kits, not pieces.

I inquired as soon as I saw this thread because I have been looking for a seller that can provide injection molded fairings for the Gen 2 since the first week I bought the bike, not because I was looking for a discount. A look back through the threads that I posted in last year will confirm this. If anybody on the forum doesn't think that I deserve the opportunity, or have the integrity to do an honest and unbiased review, please feel free to speak up. They are both more than capable of doing so in an accurate and honest way. Both members should be able to determine quality and fit as good as any other.

There is certainly no doubt that there are a LOT of members here that are interested in good quality aftermarket fairings to give their busa a truly unique and individual look! Regardless of whether I personally have any direct input into the review process or not....if these fairings are found to be good quality.....I'll be purchasing a set anyway! However it gets decided on who or how we review these fairings....I'll be happy either way!

I completely understand Vovli the fairings are being given to members because of the club so the club should decide who gets them. Tough call isnt it - Bazman has done a heap for the club and has been a member since 08. Remsta has only been a member for a few months but was there at the begining of this search. Please dont take this as a comment on either Baz or Rem both seem like great guys. Tough call and one that should be made by the members and or moderators. Like Rod I have both gen 1 and 2 but dont need any more fairings I already have a spare factory set for both bikes. By the way good on you Jennifer your are a great embassador for your company.. New vendors who come here just to peddle their wares normally get torn to pieces quick smart by the members, you attitude and the companies generosity has made you very welcome here.

I don't see the point of a member that has both model Busas doing the review (no dis-respect to those people) as we really only get one point of view but with 2 different people regardless of who they are you will get a fairer conclusion which people can draw on to make their own conclusions. So for me Bazman and Rem should be the ones to do the review and we go from there. I also have to agree with what some of you have already mentioned Jen good on you for the service / support that you have shown and one would have to say that this sort of support from companies is something that is slowly disappearing. Once again Jen Great Job.. | ||
