A fascinating night indeed. Plenty of Busas, including a naked turbo-charged S'N'R job.
Simmo and Andy had a good tussle. Bruce and Ray did well too.
The big Busas, Leonard and Dave, did well too, though they're not happy unless they run 8 second times... the sort of times we dream of...
Graham, we need to practice that firsy 60' dash in a car park some more... I did manage a 2.35 60' with 11.60 @214km/h on the last run though...
Quite a few guys there supporting us too. Thanks to 01Busa and Garry, family, friends, etc
There were 3 Blackbirds, but no ZX12's. The Blackbird guys told me they were running 11.1's. Did anyone run against them?

Forgot to mention, Graham, thanks for bringing the video camera. Don't forget to post that last run I had with your camera on board, when I ran a 9.1...

That was a top turn out last night guy's.
I hope every one had a good time. As usual the Busa's RULED that track, and we had a good showing.
I was having trouble with mine so I put it away early so I didn't do any damage, but I got to talk to a few more people this time.
I had been in a mad rush for the last three days to get it right, I was doing so much running around that I even left my helmet at S and R, lucky Alex came to the rescue with his spare for me.
The ANDRA season stars in 3 weeks, so I will be concentrating on getting set up for that. I will be at the next couple of wednesday nights to test the bike out.
We might try for the week after the East Coast Nationals for the next bike night, that will be the 23rd of September, the track will still be in good nick from the weekend before. I will try to get more Blackbirds, and I will try to get a hold of the Kawasaki's too.
Oh and thank you to everyone for making my son feel welcome, he had a great time walking amongst the bikes. He wants to take my wrist band too school for show and tell.
Dave
