Introducing myself & my new busa.

here are the pics of my busa now.

i havent done too much to it. fitted an M4 gp exhaust, raised the suspension and inch, fitted bar ends and matching swingarm spools, relocated the number plate, swapped to 1340 stickers, gsxr tank pad and added red rim tape. I still want some red pazzo levers and some rearsets.

Hi unit,

Im curious, why have you raised it? Usually they are lowered.

Cheers

thanks all. I raised it bacause they handle better, by shortening the wheelbase and raising the centre of gravity. well thats the theory. i think it looks heaps better making the rear look alot less crowded. it wheelstands alot now tho, i guess thats why they are lowered.

heres another.

welcome mate great looking bike! Would have thought raising rear makes bike turn in quicker, wheelbase would not change, also more weight on front would seem to make it wheelspin easier less wheelstanding, was a good mod on my firestorm but Busa turns in well for me as it is.

thanks guys..

the main reason to raise the rear was to try make the rear look as clean as possible, with handling a bonus... theoretically u cant change the rear height without the wheelbase changing.
