Ok here is a trade secret that most bike shops use. Get Dynamo 1.25 and mix it with degreaser 500ml brush on or spray all the bike. Will clean every part of the bike even your chain i use this on all my customers bikes and started using this in the 80s when i was at brian Collons Motorcycels as a kid. This is by far the best. Your bike will look new. I even use it when doing motor rebuilds to clean all the parts then blow dry off. Just give the bike a good waxing after if you like but if you have good paint there is no need to do so.

Could the combination of ingredients damage the o-rings in the chain? After spraying this concoction on ya bike, is there any danger it could spontaneously combust???

Cleaned my white today and in the middle of it I thought that there would be an immense experience base here on products, tools and methods to get these beauties sparkling and protect them. Have your say here and it can only be a good thing for the breed all around.

I know for me the rims, especially the chain side needs a lot of attention but I'm a bit iffy on the best methods to use. Had to remove fresh tar from a few spots also due to the slap happy methods sometimes used by our main roads patchwork quilters guild.

I've found the easiest way to get those tar spots left by the shovel holders off is turtle wax bug & tar remover.....just spray it on, leave for a couple of minutes and then wipe it off....it leaves a polished finished.
