Leaning on a bag rack is worse than sitting on one because of the lever action.

Just a word of warning Speed Demon.

Maybe the keyword is bum rack, my friend and I are going to Autocad design a stainless steel rack, quite small and neat, designed to stop Jean sliding off, it will be high enough to stop her sliding off, low enough to look neat and not be used for a back rest, but will have hopefully same leather padding, when finished it will look like nothing you could even dream up, I want this to look good and be functional. SS will be laser cut, welded and then dipped either to look like SS or may even be dipped to match color of bike.

My first idea of the Ventura back is really good, may keep it till the SS one is made and may also use that back to attach to the new rack.

keep me posted on the rack.
To be honest i dont like the missus on the back at all, but if i take her out 1 day a month with whatever shit she wants to bring it gives me the rest of the month off.
when she comes with me its like having a speed limiter set at 110kph or dont go over 4000rpm, mister plod may as well be sitting on the back with me

I guess I'm just jealous, my wife has been on the pillion seat once in 3 years.
Grandkids love it though.

The bumrack sounds like a good idea - sort of mini sissybar I imagine.
If you could incorporate a couple of grab handles into it for the pillion it would be even better.

Never would be better, my 14 year old daughter loves it and only weighs 45kg and doesnt poke me in the ribs when i speed, split or do something generally considered illegal

has anyone seen or have a gear rack fitted to there bike. if so who's is it ????? i been told ventura rack mid jan ...

I only needed a very small bag to hold bib and bobs so at Peter Stevens today I spotted this neat bag, it straps underneath to the pillion seat and sort of leaves a mat, this mat easily then with supplied clips secures the bag to the mat, makes it easy to take on and off.........$90.00 less 15% is not bad......

Now it has Hayabusa embroidered on it, $10.00 from Valerie Travers Embroidery here in Adelaide.
