Cash doesnt mean as much as it use to. The shops get a kick back from finance so its actually preferred these days.
You are right, offer them what you would like to pay and they will either say yes or no which is really what this is all about. A lot easier to leverage if other shops have already lowered there prices though.

On a similar subject, our company General Manager got jealous of some of his employees having too much fun on weekends.
He came to look at my bike last week and promptly went back to the BIG SMOKE and bought an 07 Blackbird.
(He is a HONDA man and could not be swayed).
He got a demo bike with less than 500 ks on it for $13,800 cash ride away.
Money talks and while these prices are on offer from the competitors, the Suzuki salesmen have to compete.

First and foremost you have to go down to the store, regarding the cheque:a reputable dealer/registerd business/bike shop/motorcycle store, does that answer your ???????????????. It is obvious that some of the people in this forum cant read so let me write this one last time for the ones who can IF YOU WANT INFO ON THESE PRICES AND WHERE TO GET THEM FROM CALL 0424-800-999.
I think it was Team Homo at Virginia and Sunstate Motorcycles at Maroochydore but I am not 100% on these I can guarantee that is wasnt Springwood Suzuki thou
Are they just replated, resprayed stolen older models?
I rang springwood the other day and tried to bargain a lower price on a 08. He said sorry mate, as they are in short supply at the moment they all go at rrp.
So why are these so cheap?

Dont ask why the others are so cheap you should be asking why Springwood is so damn dear Springwood is like the biggest selling Suzuki dealer in the country they usually get the new stock in first before other shops so basically they can ask what ever they want for the bikes. To me if i was the biggest dealer in the country i would be cutting cost and selling more but hey that is me and not Tony if you choose to buy from them so be it but dont go whinging if you payed 2k more than another shop would have sold you one for. I was talking to another fellow member that was offered an 08 for $16.5 + on roads so deals can be gotten you just have to stop being lazy and do some legwork ya self .

Might all be above board and all good, not implying anything otherwise, but if you can only supply a mobile and not a landline, and not even a store or location...hmmm. Might call this tomorrow just to satisfy my curiosity. If I don't, my loss I guess...

![Wtf Wtf](https://www.australian-hayabusa-club.com/MyBB/images/smilies/wtf.gif) There new 08 not stolen or replated, resprayed.
There cheap because thats what we all should be paying full bloody stop.
The shop's count on people to pay full price & make out there your friend but will under cut you to the next guy that walks in to get a sale . Dont kid yourself no dealers every do you a favor & there still making $ & able to do the deal somehow.
I've bought 6 new busa's since 99 & the cheapest was $16700 12 months rego ride away the dearest was $17026 12months rego ride away the other 4 were $17000 so whats the say about there value.
Some people just dont have it in them to try for a better deal & forget there the ones with the cash.

Hes sometime bussy wheeling & dealing & hard to get onto & not into the net much, just ph him early mornings is the best.He would want to give you the guys name to talk to etc .Whats the point of just having the shops name if you get the wrong person & they cant help you out.
Above board ![Wtf Wtf](https://www.australian-hayabusa-club.com/MyBB/images/smilies/wtf.gif) Not everyone has landlines these days you know , people move around a lot. Rubin hasnt gone online to sell hot bikes to other members . I was at the shop when the deals were done.
Same shop i've used in the past.
Actually all the what ifs & how that possile bullshit i'd be surprised if he would still offer to help as he was / is getting nothing out of it .
Either your in the market for a brand new bike or your not spend the 50c & make a ph call it could save you a couple of grand.
it shouldnt matter what shop it comes from & how much they are.
If you want to Buy call rubin to get the info to get hooked up for a deal.

TheShredder Wrote:Above board Not everyone has landlines these days you know The obvious implication I was making was a store DOES have a landline. They don't operate from a mobile.
Regardless, this matter has all been sorted now. Thanks hayabusa1300 and Busgo

Obviously you have never heard of the hundreds of scams per day on ebay where people get ripped off and no one is ever caught. Shock horror - there are even motorbike scams.
Correct me if this seams illogical but if I was trying to help out a group of people with similar interest, I might be a little bit more forth-coming with information. Especially after people asked for more info.
Now if I had a mate in a bike shop who could do some good deals I would type my post like this:
Call John Smith from SuperBikeMegaFactoryDirect bike shop on 555 5555 for a good deal. Mention my name and he will hook you up.
But if I made a post that looked like a scam, had info like a scam, replyed to it like a scam, ....
Well I wouldn't be upset if people treated it like a scam.
Don't get me wrong. I am not against you trying to help others on this forum out. Quite the opposite. Now that I know the full details I applaude your efforts.
But maybe you should look at your own actions before you flame others.
Ride safe.
