43T will give you worse/higher consumption, but it may indicate (on your gauges) that your economy is the same since the mileage, like the speedo, is showing more than you actually did.

I had the 38T on at Jindy. I didn't keep tabs of mileage (shoulda!!!) but I know I always seemed to have more fuel in the bike during stops than others said, and that was riding with Franko on the back! I DO ride like a sissy though <i></i>

Indicated 16.4kms/ltr (Didn't keep a record but 227Litres would be about right)
1 complete rear tyre and half a front tyre (I know, I didn't try as hard as some of you guys)
A huge barrel of fun and met some good people.

Adds up to an OK return for me.

My milage is getting even more impressive, I'm now 10kms/litre. I'm losing economy as we speak. I'm now scared to light a smoke anywhere near the back end of the bike as I'm pretty sure there is unused fuel floating about.

Anyone would think I ride a VTR!

I never keeped records of fuel consumption, but I left jindy on a full tank and arrived at Tumut on reserve. dont Know how far that is, but I guess when average speed is + I don't expect ecomony. I'd be happy to get 300 ks for a tank. I had a ZX12 before the bus, on that 220Ks was a bonus. <i>Edited by: ROD at: 14/3/07 7:44
