HELP!
#16
My only fear with a pre-loved busa is I don't know its history. When they came out all the cowboys wanted to ride the fastest production bike ever built. The other side to that was they wanted to see how fast they could go. With my bus I ran it in WELL, I did the 6000km services and oil changes at 3000kms. I worry about how other people have treated them. If I bought one privately at least I could ask.

I'm getting allbikes tonight and have a look around.

Because I always wanted the busa, I have no idea what else is out there and how much things are at the moment. Allbikes will give me a hint.

i understand your concerns heidi, but the busa is mechanically almost bulletproof, one would have to really go way overboard to do it any real harm and the overall cosmetic condition is usually testament to how an owner may have treated the machine,,

and i would guess that most who have bought a new busa would have looked after it pretty well, service history and a follow up call to the dealer who carried them out, should help give you some insight,,

anyway, from my observation you certainly didn't hold back on the curry when riding your busa around those dimly lit backroads of canberra - it handled that ok none the worse for wear, didn't it?

just my humble opinion,,

cheers from a very sympathetic fellow busa rider
