Rise To The Occasion

The link www.blackrobotics.com/index.htm is the aussie company... their site used to have a .au domain: mail.ezy.net.au/~fastvid/

here's a how to link from an aussie site:
home.iprimus.com.au/stevebm/yb.html

I've had a 43 for a while and the acceleration is good if you can use it...first gear becomes pretty much useless and for light weight riders second would be a handfull. Personally, I prefer the 43 because it suits my riding and it's well suited to tracks like Phillip Island...
There are a number of guys who have used a 42,43 etc and gone back to 40... (for above reasons)
and if you've got time to look at your speedo on busa...you're not concentrating where you should be!

you're killin me phil
Second gear is pretty much totally screwed but probably not for the reasons you think Years of careless/quick shifting ensured that@! Excursions up the black spur, PI and calder wouldn't have done any favours either...

Just to clear up, clutchless shifting and second gear mingers had nothing to do with it...honest

going where it's warmer...not riding

I sent an email to Yellowbox - Aus. and received the following reply:

"Thanks for your inquiry. The Yellow Box is sold here in Australia.
Total price is $182 AUD which includes Express Post and GST.

Thanks
-Jennifer"

You can contact them via the link on Bigshow's reply.

Hey,guys, has anyone tried the handlebar risers yet?

I`ve had them on for about 6mths now & the difference it makes, comfort wise, is really amazing.

Your back & neck straighten up & heaps less weight on your wrists.I do a lot of big kays & my previously aching body parts truly appreciate the new comfort level.(was that someone in the background whispering..."yeah,ol` timers get that!")SHEEESH! I still ride a Busa tho!!

The risers come in two sizes.19mm & 34mm. I`ve got the 19 which presents no probs with stretching hoses or clearing the fairing on full lock.I suspect you might run into those probs with the 34 tho.

Appearance wise, its hard to pick `em.Its only when you stand 2 Busas side by side that you`ll notice a slight difference to the height of the bars.

Amongst a bunch of other bolt-on thingys,I`ve gotta put the risers into my 6 favourite mods.the others being:-
Double bubble screen(looks great & actually works)
Oggy crash knobs(peace of mind & insurance)
Arrow carbon mufflers(nice note)
Undertray/hugger(nice rear end)
43 tooth rear sproc(Aaahh...the thrust)

Any thoughts guys?
