Possible Club Track Day? (Vic)
#16
I didn't get the op on my foot done, so I might give the track day some more thought. Still a ways off, but I desperatley need to get back on a track and do some relaxing corners (ie. no oncoming cars, cows or cockatoos).

Must get the bike up to scratch first ...

G'Day Brendon.

You will most likely get 6 sessions of around 20 to 25 minutes dependant on if any sessions are cut short because of serious incidents. How many laps will depend on how fast you ride, but I can tell you that the most laps I have ever done in a track day was around 60 (270 k's).

The groups are graded, so when you book in you are best to specify which group you would like to be in. So far we have 2 members booked for the slow group and 2 members booked for the middle group.

Guys, they still have spaces available for all groups for that day, but don't leave it too long or you may miss out.

I'll send you an email with some more details Brendon.

Firestorm Mark and I had a ball down there Friday by the way.

One more thing I should mention. You do need full leathers for Phillip Island. They don't need to be racing leathers, touring leathers are fine, just as long as they are leather.

Scott, can you send me some details too. I'll need to book into the slow group. If there are only fast group spots left I might chance it with those blokes travis.betts@defence.gov.au

You have mail Ressac.

We were in the fast group on Friday. Currently myself and the Bad Bad Busa Ridin' Butcher from Bacchus are booked in the middle group, but if there are no more takers for the middle group I will see if he wants to change to the fast group.

Thanks for the fast drop off yesterday, Scott. Did you hurl it through the open door as you drove by??

Still undecided on whether I will use it or not, but it is not a bad fit at all.

No probs Richard. I knocked on the door but no response, so I figured you must have been in the shower or something.

My uncle from Holland was staying with us on the weekend. He went for a walk and just left the front door open...

3 more?

Are you trailering or riding Brendon? You have been on the track B4 haven't you?

Apart from the obvious things (and stuff they mention in the docs when you get them) you may want to consider extra fuel, or at least make sure your bike is filled up in San Remo if you are riding. I am also looking at bringing some extra fuel for other people who may be riding...along with morning tea of coarse...one reason why I am trying to keep track of numbers.
