Before & After/ Militec added to oil
#16
Maybe there should be a post dedicated to how "Snake Oils" are just that.....

I'd encourage all to search the web and other published literature on additives.

Makes light entertaining reading and so do those who try to flog it.

Can you let us know the conditions under which the dyno runs were undertaken ?
ie 1st run as logged and graphed were ?

where are the 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th run files ? and when was the Militec added? what were the conditions then ie variables monitored. Its about comparing apples with apples and ensuring that the changed is directly attributable to the additive and nothing else

As for your last post , its very difficult to comprehend when the Vendor of many products resorts to a personal level.

Lets try to stay with the issue of supporting the product with credibility under pinned by good data.

Hope this post can progress.

I'm just doing the rounds getting prices on chain and sprockets to do a
520 15/43 conversion to my '98 ZX6R. Also I thought you might like a
testimonial about Militec.

After reading about Militec I thought I'd give it a go. Wow. I didn't
expect it to be as good as this. After putting it in with an oil change
and going for a hours run the typically noisy engine of my '98 ZX6R
quietened down allot. The engine is more responsive everywhere and the
starts to pull several hundred rpm earlier. Militec helps unleash the
power in your engine for heaps less then any after market parts. For
those of you worried about additives and wet clutches as I was, I still
bang the bike through the gears and there hasn't been any ill effects.
Next time I do a chain and sprocket I'm going to soak it in Militec
before fitting and the next time my car needs an oil change its getting
the Militec treatment too.
