I know it is way too early but generally can we all learn from these disasters?
If we can somehow share this then we CAN all learn something. I know it's not always our fault but there are always things that can be done a bit better. E.g. When I went down last year Labour day Weekend I believe it was because I had 1. not enough sleep 2. been riding way too much over 3 days When I missed the corner (and I wasn't going that fast) I just blacked out for a couple of seconds. That's all it took. Before that we had been going at pretty quick speeds without a prob all day. It was only when I relaxed a little and felt a bit tired that disaster hit me. If a car was coming from the other direction when I crossed the road it could have been a lot worse. Moral to the story...ride within your limits as far as tiredness goes and the amount of riding you can sustain. I learnt from it...I can assure you. I hadn't come off for 20 yrs before that! 1985 on a Katana 1100.. Cheers, Pete djpete@tpg.com.au Z Web World Mobile Dj, Web Design, Photography, Bullshit Artist!Edited by: Djpete at: 7/6/06 2:26 am
