Bike want start.

Ok.

The fuel pump primes, the motor does not turn over, the immobilizer light does come on and go off.
On the middle gauge that shows what gear you are in is 0 and the green N. not in gear. head light is on and oil light also. It goes through the same thing if it would start, but no turning over of the motor!
So far I have started the motor every time I go and hit the starter button. Not once has it not started. As I said before I have cleaned clutch switch stand switch checked by removing the battery leads, all clean as i did that before the recall. The only place I haven't checked is the fuses and relays for corrosion and spray some WD40 on the fuse box.

To date I have not found any think that would stop the motor from turning over. I have yet to check the lever as Pan told me about as I have the rear wheel off waiting for the EBC XC rotor.

I will for sure let you guy's know what I find so if any other busa does the same this will help.

I want to say a big THANKS for your input of info to try and help this old guy. Thanks again guy's.
Thanks John

With the clutch switch you will hear it click on and off just put your ear close to the leaver and pull in slowly to see if you hear click

You don't need to start the motor to diagnose the clutch lever thing...

Try this: (DON'T touch the start/crank button at all!!!)

Put clutch lever to setting 5 or 6, then with ignition on, pull in the lever with your ear close to the lever. You should hear a tick/click sound, which is the switch being activated.

Put clutch lever to setting 1 or 2, then with ignition on (again), pull in the lever with your ear close to the lever. If there is NO tick/click sound, that's the problem... (or "optional anti-theft security device" depending on your point of view) Very Happy

Ok carry a short piece of electrial wire with bared ends, if it does this again, pull the terminals off the clutch switch and bridge the 2 wires , that would confirm the clutch switch is either the cause or not
