With Ducati Stoner was winning races. Ducati has been throwing every thing at the Duc to try and win a race but its just not happening.
In my mind Stoner is a better rider than Rossi and the fact that he won races on the Ducati just proves it.
I just don't get why people keep saying that when Stoner is wining races its the bike but when he going bad he is a crap rider.
I reckon that Val will pull the plug at the end of next year.2fast4u

Your reasoning is a bit...how can i put it.......patriotically blind, cause if we use the same argument Rossi won more races/championships than Casey so how is he better than Rossi????Casey went from Honda to a ducati to a honda on the other side of the coin Rossi won championships on Honda,Yamaha and now its time for the Ducati... a bike that needs to be worked on.Rossi develops the bikes he rides and won on practically everything he put his ass on.Leave the national pride out of the equation and as good as casey is he has a long road to travel to meet up with Rossi and what he has mustered.I like Stoner as he has a unique way of handling a bike and a typical example is the Ducati that no one can ride it like he can but that does not mean that he is better than Rossi cause he won on that bike.
For some to say that he should have retired after he finished from Yamaha is a joke,to say the least, cause this guy came back to racing and winning with his shin bone practically sticking out of his leg and if you want to compare that to a milkshake deficiency casey was suffering of when he dropped the ball.....no comparison but both had debilitating affects on them.Im sure that some of us inc me will be going on that diet called "eating your words' time will tell!!

As you can see from the first 12 rounds of 2007 and 2011, Rossi deserves sympathy for riding such a difficult bike :-)
