I have a K9 and i had the same issue, the bike just wouldn't start first up in the morning, it would take a few goes. Then it started getting worse. I sent it to the stealership thinking it was the reg/rec. Got it back and it was better for a day or two then started again. Took it back and they said that the battery was dead. WTF thought they would have tested the voltage when they done the RR. Anyway, replaced the battery and now it fires first go everytime.... Just my 2c

Yea mate same issue, I think with the flat battery, the setting for the ISC valve have been lost, so of course the battery is the first problem, and then ISC is the secondary symptom!
