Well the run is done and dusted! What an awesome weekend with great people to share it with.
Thank you to everyone who made the trip and I trust all returned home safely.
(Some not getting home till Monday night)
It was great to meet lots of members I have not had acquaintance with before and it was a real pleasure to share some drinks, jokes, laughs and stories with every single person who was there.

Me & Kylie got home about 3.....did any of the southbound brigade get wet arses coming home? we hit a few showers between Gloucester & Raymond Terrace but nothing too bad. you didn't happen across the green unmarked SS on the Bucketts Way? I got the customary high beam flash...sorry officer, was too busy concentrating on the road in front of me to worry about the speedo.

I must have been right behind you CeeJay. I copped the same showers and saw the same copper.
I had a call from Braddo last night. They were camped at Gloucester and it seems that busaboy (the scottish hoon) had a minor off into some wet grass on the Ebor road. No apparent damage except a lot of mud and a minor scratch or two.

That'll teach him to try and keep up with Shona Coolsmiley Roll
Better riding within ya limits John and leave Shona out front blazing the trail for others to follow!!! Lol2

Had to wait for Shona to give me a hand to pick the beast up - next year I'm going to be Shona's pillion!!!! Not much damage to the bike, slid 10 metres on wet grass, stopped just short of the drop down the gulley then she'd never of found me!!

As long as you're okay and the damage is cosmetic only, the mighty white lives!!!!!

Last time I had a meal with some fellow riders at the Nymboida coach station, Russel Crowe came in with his lovely wife and kids for a meal. They tell me he owns the place (there is a cartoon caricature of him as a gladiator on the wall). He bought it because it was going to close and he didn't want it to. Apparently he has or had a property at Glenn Reigh if thats how you spell Reigh not to far from there.
I generally avoid temptation unless I can't resist it.

Actually Russel has owned the coaching station for about 7 years and he lives a lot of the year at Nana Glen on the road to Coramba from Grafton.
The dining room is full of his sporting memorabilia and the museum has a huge collection of his personal effects from most of his movies, bikes and cars.
A couple more pics.

Fuel stop at Gloucester.
