Bill, I think Kawa's trying to say,
"you look like you're sitting way back in your seat..." ...rather than "you look ape-like" or "you have a delicate appreciation of coconuts".

I had the good fortune to be able and sit and watch the whole thing. Best time I have ever had at the drags, loved every bit of it. Line 'em up and go, line em up and go, line em up etc etc. Awesome. Only 3 or four reasonable short hold ups as well (Hahaha turn your air con off idiots !!)
Looked like a fair degree of fun factor so I might give it a go the next time we go up. Any tips on the technique for this sort of racing? I have never done anything like it before. Not even fast street launches as I am almost always with pillion.. as you can imagine a big launch would not be a good thing so any tips would be apreciated. Shane Jimboomba QLD

Just like to say that I had a great time at willowbank on the weekend.
first run ever, I managed 10.9. unfortunatley only got 5 passes in before I got the FI light came on and the bike (Max) shut down. PB was 10.77 on my fourth pass. cant wait to get out there again and do better. Max still not running, will get him into the shop to have it sorted this week. thanks to Shane's Dad for getting the bike home.

Anyone interested in going to Willowbank on Wed the 15th of March. I had a great time on the last trip, this time I might even give it a go instead of being a spectator. I'm still on holidays at the moment, I go back on the 20th, so this will be my last chance for a while.
Cheers, Terry |
