Another quick update:

1hotBusa and Mrs Half-a-Busa drove down last night (got there after 1am) after dodging a few animals on the road... Pi_freak ...now have both bikes on the trailer and heading back to Sydney.

Chris is going home. John has some cervical spine fractures (don't know how bad???) so will be kept in hospital for more tests...

Heidi, Simmo, Loafy and I hit Canberra with Graeme and Cath towing the trailer with the two red bikes on that back. Safe trip intersperced with lots of bicycles on Monaro Highway.

We called into see Johnny, he is banged about but in good spirits.
We offer a huge thank you to Graeme and Cathy for their awesome effort of gettin to Jindabyne a little after 1 this morning, driving out to Adaminaby, picking the bikes up and taking the bikes, and Chris, whom they picked up at my place on the way home, home. The spirit of "the Team" is alive and well with these guys.

Heidi here (god, this is familiar). I'll leave it to Mrs Ruffy to tell you about John's condition, but there is no need to worry, he is in good hands and Mrs Ruffy is with him and the Canberra Team have charge.

MAX and HEIDI xxx
Good weather, good woman, good road, good bike, good-bye!!

Yeah, really glad that things are not so bad as first seemed.
It was a shock to get back from a day out on the road and find out the news.
A big well done! to everyone that was on hand to help out with first aid and emergency care and also to Graham and Kathy for doing the bike rescue.

Not everyone attempted the loop and at the time of the offs, I believe the weather was fine, but it deteriated later.
It sounds like a sandy washover on a bend caught the guys out.
"If time catches up with you. You're going too slow!"

hey all, im ruffys son kieran, some of you have met me, mainly at wsid.

i got the call at 11 this morning, was quite shocked and felt like shit, got to speak to dad and he sounded a little distressed but assured me he would be fine.

as i understand, he had injured his arm, and some vertabrea aswell.

hoping he will be out in 3-4 days, but we will see what happens.

thanks for all the support mesages, i will make sure to pass them on.

cheers.
