40K service? I thought services were every 6k. ie 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42, 48.

Do you mean your 42k or are your doing a weird 40k service?

To get the new bling on I have had to remove not only the Fairing but also the nose cone, most of the electrics Les has put in as well as judicious cutting and taping. At this stage I doubt it will be together for tomorrow night! - Strewth! Pi_freak

Okay, I got it back on. The f*&^ing nose cone wouldn't go back on, would NOT!! shitful thing! Then after prodding, poking, shoving etc for the better part of an hour I realised that the right ram air vent was just too f*&^ing low, resulting in the indicator butting up against it rather than sliding over said ram air tunnel thingy (technical term from the "Max book of bush engineering") took the whole thing almost off, still connected to shitloads of really important looking wires, compared the left ram air bracket with the right! Hey Presto, the backet has fallen 2 inches as the bolt that holds the bracket to the subframe is MISSING. Find another bolt, heave ho a little on the bracket (much sweating), fiddle the bolt in and trhe whole thing just slid back into place.

Should make tomorrow night now, 42k service almost complete, coolant is all that's left to replace and synch the throttle bodies.

Thing isn't running yet mind you Lol3

Another Jack, some CI and then bed. f*** the golf tomorrow, there's a bike to play with
