Dan,
To the best of my knowledge all of the billet pans are flat bottomed and do not allow you to run your street exhaust. The stocker is scalloped to allow the pipe to go thru.

Helicoils are awsome and should not leak. Pull the pan and take it to a trusted mechanic, most have helicoil kits.
They drill your sump to the correct size tap it and wind in the helicoil thread, you can then use the stock sump plug.
