Turbo Legality?
#4
you can get a turbo bike in QLD legal.... a good mate of mine got his 929rr mod'ed and legal.. he runs over210hp and had no real prob..

it just takes a long time with the respective departments that you have to deal with... i couldn't see it being any different from a cbr to a busa?

He added a better braking system and a coupleof other things to show that the bikes brake system was improved due to the more hp.

Theonly real problem he had was the db from the bike... he stuffed his cans full of exhaust packing to get it under the legal requirement.. it sounded and idled like shit, but it didn't matter, it wasn't ridden... only free reved.

if you want more info i'll see if i can pass his number on... he's a busy bloke.
