Turbo Legality?
#1
This is proberly aimed more at the QLD turbo blokes. (Please correct me if im wrong at anytime) Im of the understanding that no turbo Busas in QLD have mod plates re: Turbo installation. Im thinking that maybe someone has tried to obtain a mod plate but im not sure. Surely its not as simple as taking you bike to a RWC station and getting it checked out and mod plate attached? Is there actually a code for a turbo modded bike? If someone has tried to get a mod plate for legal/insurance purposes why were they knocked back? Mine is getting blown in the next few weeks and i contacted my insurance company (as well as a couple of others) and asked about mods, they all said if the mod doesnt cause the bike to be unroadworthy they will still cover it. Hence the reason for the mod plate. Any input or corrections would be greatly appreciated

PS.... im still going to turbo it no matter what the response here, but having insurance with the turbo would be peace of mind.
