Doesnt really faze me either way.Both have good and bad points.The group thing is good as its safety in numbers re the and is always good to have a chat with others when you are stopped to compare notes.
However riding by yourself is good too as you can run your own pace and stop when you feel like it.
I dont have a problem with large groups as long as everyone sorts themselves out and runs at a pace that they feel comfortable with and not over commiting themselves putting others at risk.Its just all common sense really,something the government thinks nobody has.
