Thanks - I actually narrowed it down to one bike. Its an 2000 model 46k.

2 more questions!

1. Can I fit rubbers around the foot pegs to decrease vibration?
2. There is a bit of tapping from the engine unless the clutch is pulled in (guy said it was bearing/whatever on clutch plate and that a lot of bike did it?

Not sure about the rubbers, but the louder than usual noise that comes from the clutch when not pulled is normal (at least as far as I am concerned), bit like a whir noise with a slight tap from time to time. (at least, I have had that in my last two - both 99 models). I asked the mechanic about this, and he said it was normal also. Where are you located, I might know of a busa or two close by?
