most dont realise the bike really isnt fully run in till after 30k, sounds rediculous but my bike was much better and almost a diffferent bike after 30k. bot of course have well looked after it since new.
if i was looking to buy now, id wait till end of year for next generation model, if too much $$, then hang out for 07's that are going to go out the door at rediculous prices and new. wouldnt be suprised to them go for 14.990 + on road costs. making aprox 16.2 total. or 16 at a squeeze. much depends on your budget, better sell you bike privately and get cashed up then shop. theres gonna be alot of older busas up for sale wanting to get in on new one, it will be a buyers market to pick and choose.
