well Rod those that dont use a dyno can only really rely on theyre "ear" or "feel" even if experienced. at least the dyno will give you readings across the range showing exactly whats happening as the engine is working, rich or lean etc. forget the HP factor. then mapping to suit the bike. I believe in it. Im still weighing up the Power Commander vs in store map argument. The PC adjusts at every 250 rev per thousand. the yoshi box a measly 5% + or minus increments. I think theres another box out there that does every thousand. But with your readings Rod I do highly recommend a dyno tune, Im sure there will be a major difference thereafter.
BTW, I forgot to mention in my above fugures that Im running a 43 tooth sprocket, so that does make a diff. ie better fuel ration on 40 OEM. <i></i>
