This case is a little complicated Kev. It was a "Circuit Breakers" training day at the track and Shannons was contacted a week before the event (since they advertise they cover approved training days) and they stated (verbally to several people) it WAS an approved course.
Several people were told so and it was consequently posted on the RATS website that these discussions took place...
On the day 4 bikes fell on the opening warm up lap because of the bad conditions. A few weeks later Shannons changed their tune and said it wasn't an approved course... but Superbike School and Stay Upright STILL ARE approved!
Also, they took the guys CBR, declined the claim, now state they don't know where the bike is...
It's going to be a legal matter at the end of the day, but I thought I'd warn Shannons customers about it. I was a Shannons customer until yesterday. WQBE now do "better" quotes and Shannons don't have an "exit fee", so it worked out cheaper to swap anyway
