Other then all the other well recorded problems with the A380 and that it will probably bust Airbus, for me there are two main points. One that it's very ugly, aircraft have to look good, especially from a pilots perspective.
Second when the engineers with all their 3D modeling computers started creating models for the A380 to make the biggest/most efficient design possible it kept on spitting out a design very close to the original 747-100 which says alot for the 60's slide rule and Boeing Engineers.
The aircraft (and it's business plan) will be the biggest (literally) white elephant in aviation history since the Goose.
