Easter Long Weekend Ride Details!!! [VIC]

OK - ride details - some are yet to be confirmed such as main meeting point & stuff as well.

Meeting Points: (These are up for debate)
Mansfield
Yea
Healsville
Whittlesea

I am thinking Yea might be best or Whittlesea

Route:
Pretty much its a case of meet up & get to Mansfield from there the ride starts:


Mansfield -----> Barwite ---> Chesthunt south -----> Chesthunt ---> Dandongadale ---> Buckland ----> Brookside ----> Porepunkah *STOP*

OK - from Porepunkah we will be going up Mt Buffalo & back down in to Porepunkah.
After that its down to Bright & taking the Mt Beauty turn off. In short that run is just taking the "Bright to Tawonga" road & back again in to Bright.

For the Day riders you could do these runs & then head back to Melbourne - that would be a good ride for you all. I would suggest perhaps Porepunkah for Lunch or maybe after coming back over the Bright - Tawonga road.


For anyone wanting to join me to Omeo:
Back from the Bright - Tawonga road ride - head to Freeburgh on Great Alpine way ---> Harrietville ---> Hotham Hights ---> Dinner Plain ---> Cobungra ---> Omeo.

Option Run & time depended for arrival at Omeo:
Omeo to Mitta Mitta & back! :) looks like a fantastic run!!

Ride back:
Omeo to Bairnsdale stopping at Tambo crossing for quick break & then moving on. Bairnsdale to sale ----> Morwell ---> Moe ---> North turn to Bunyip state park & come in to Melbourne via Cockatoo / Seville.


Accommodation: Snug in a bug will do rooms for 2 @ 40 bucks a head including breakky. However when I called them they said its a min of two nights over Easter! :( Due to this I might actually stay for the Saturday there & head back on the Sunday & use the Saturday to ride around & check out the area. Other wise its 80 a night for a room by your self.

So.... thoughts? Anyone wanna come? Anyone game enough??? wuss's :P
