Is there nothing considered sacred out there any more????
I think it's high time we demand much tougher penalties for these sorts of crimes. I realise that may not help you Heidi, but when I read of you plight, it just makes my blood boil and I'm ready to hang the bastards.
I realise that you are far away from here, but if you do get desperate enough and the settlement is going to be long-winded and you happen to be in town, give me a call and you can borrow my bus for a squirt anytime.
You are really in a no-win situation, if the bastards are caught and you recover your bike, it's probably damaged and will be off road for a while, not to mention that it may never be the same again. If they don't recover it, you will probably be out of pocket even if you are fully insured, not to mention the premium hike and the time frame involved.
You have my full sympathy and it makes me sad that we have to contend with such dishonesty in this modern day society.
