Fenda,
The ride you described is a great one and used by Newcastle riders quite a lot.
Options for accommodation also include the Bendemeer pub where we stay a lot. Good food, cold beer and good protection for the Busa's while we play.
The road from Bendemeer into Walcha has all of the usual flowing bends and room for a speed trial if that is what turns you on.
Other accommodation used is the Mt Seaview resort a further 20K's and lots of bends further on from Ginger's. Cheap and accommodating the resort hosts bike groups all of the time and is very friendly.
Why don't we talk about a Busa run and weekend when we are all together this weekend at Wollombi and Mt White? If the group does not want to go I am sure that a smaller group can be organised. You can count me in although we may want to go a little later in the winter as Walcha can be a bitch at Busa speeds in the winter.
