Thanks everyone for the help and thanks specially to those who rang and emailed and offered me somewhere to crash! Much apreciated (gets me all warm and fuzzy to know we have such a top group).

On Richard's advice I rang the Nunnery in Fitzroy (seems they will let me in after all). Sounds very cheap and FUN! Apparently it is where all the artists, musicians and general bums stay. I should fit right in!

Thanks heaps! now all I have to do is write my presentation for the damn conference. WHO thought this was a good idea!
