I to suffer occasionally with the blank screen but find if you just press the refresh button on your browser it will load the page again without problems.
This board is so much better than the other because of it's many features like spell check, personal icons ect...
It even allows you to edit your postings (In case you find yourself with some sort of law suit thrown at you )
Think of PL's site as well as he probably will run out of Web space to store the board on his site and will eventually have to delete posting which may be of some use to someone later down the track.
Richard is doing a great job in sorting out the hiccups with this new board and he along with PL should be commended.
Change is for the better of all and what was it my old Mum use to say,"Life is like a box of chocolates Blah Blah Blah Wank Wank Wank........................"
