You have done it too. You, in one foul swoop, have generalised about me by stating that"I am "beginning to sound like them". Like whom Les? Like Pete? Like Miles? Like Gazza? Like Phil? Like WHOM?!
Havent you ever wondered about these guys responding and reacting to you at almost every turn of your word? Yes, you are right about Pete. Pete does have issues .... Pete has problems .... but they all seem to be based around you and Volvi. Why do you think this is Les?
Maybe its time for you (and Volvi) to reassess what you guys are about and come to some sort of educated conclusion about solving this obviously long standing tarnishing that seems to be carrying on and getting a bit long in the tooth. I have never thought ill of you, just wondered why it seems that when someone chose to disagree, you always went on the warpath. Especially if that someone was Peter. Do I think Pete's perfect? Hell no! But in that imperfection is someone who knows his limitations, someone who is always willing to listen and learn, someone who is extremely servicing to people's needs (except yours and Volvi's)and has been nothing but generous and gentlemanly in his dealings with me.
I have no need to befriend Pete for any reason and I have done so. Why? Because of his nature and acceptance of other fellow beings. We dont have a problem with him, just you and Volvi. Ask yourself ... What did you do to get him riled up? What do I think? I think Pete got carried away too .... but he did not start this seemingly torrid relationship, did he? He chose to disagree with you guys and that did not fit your idea of comaraderie. So in that respect, I do not think the fault lies with Pete. I wonder where it is ....
I chose to go with the 'other' board / club because I saw the organisation giving something to its members (and I am not talking about just rides). Something that was lacking in this association. I thank you though .... Till Gazza's post, you have shown restraint and diplomacy in your replies (unlike Volvi) but then you too, my dear sir, with your last reply to Gazza, have started to sound (let me see, what were the words? Ah!) "just like them". It is easy to lose one's composure when we are hit where it hurts (wherever that is) and thats what you have been receiving from Boss. You guys have knocked his livelihood time and time again and you expect him not to respond?
Again, I must reiterate, I have never thought ill of you but I too sir, like you, must say 'alas'. I too placed you a cut above the rest ....
