Hi Brian,
Sorry for the late reply, I cant advise you about mapping as I dont have a PC2 and from what I have learned so far it's not a necessary item for a rider but rather for those that map on a regular basis. I would suggest you have the bike mapped once by a reputable mechanic.
With regards to the airbox a great source of info is available at Martins site here is the link, hope it helps.
