Hard to start when hot?

I remember reading in these topics about moving the air temp sensor in the air box.(cant find it now).Anyway i noticed yesterday after going for a fang that when i went to restart the bike after resting for 20 min it took about 5or6 stabs at the button before it would fire.Could this be the problam?If you move the sensor to a cooler part of the airbox would it not tend to run rich in winter????Has anyone done this mod and what were your results?
