Just a suggestion Mick.
Take the coast road to Albion Pk,then up thru Macquarie Pass.Take the back roads thru to Goulburn.Pick up the Hume(not much choice here)thru to Gundagai.Turn off to Tumut,onto Tumbarumba & Jingellic.Cross the Murray,turn right & follow the river all the way into Albury.
This last section(about 110kms)is absolutely fantastic!! No towns,no traffic,no plod.Just you,the Busa & the twisties. But plan your fuel stops carefully.(There`s none after Jingellic)
I did this run in reverse about 3mths ago.It`s about 700kms from Syd but sure beats the shit out of the monotony of the Hume.
