Just read a post over at www.suzukihayabusa.org about the Swiss government's plans to introduce draconian anti-bike legislation, very ugly story indeed
In this country we tend to take out open spaces & freedoms for granted but would not want to become too complacent as there are forces at work right now that would do the same here if they could get away with it
A couple of years ago I parked the busa in the secure parking area at the Phillip Island GP & was absolutely gobsmacked at the numbers of bikes there. Many acres of handle bar to handle bar bikes which made me think that if all of those blokes banded together they would be a potent political lobbying force for non restrictive bike laws.
For this reason I subsequently I joined the MRAA & now enjoy discounts on tyres & accessories which has more than repaid my $40 joining fee
Anyone else here joined ?........www.mraa.org.au
