A friend of mine repainted his copper 99 & replaced his kanji decals with some home made one's that came out quite good considering the cost, $5 for two.
He scanned a kanji symbol & enlarged it onto some clear decal sheet he got from office works. You put the sheet in your printer, print & then lay another sheet over it to make it watertight then cut it out,
peel off the backing & voila.
You can make up just about anything from most photo enhancement/graphics programs etc.
