I have had a close encounter with a Flying Fox at dusk which was scary....

A young guy who was returning to Sydney from Adelaide while in the RAAF was found dead on the Hay Plains in the mid 70's.
He had a dead Gallah embedded in his chest.
Subsequently the RAAF banned rookies from taking motorcycles to their Basic training program.
I already was there with my bike and they had to let me ride it back home.
