You're not that far off the money with your 250k's on the Phillip Island straight. A lot of guys that haven't riden the circuit think that you would be screaming down there on a busa at 300+, but the problem with the busa is that being so heavy you have to brake early to pull her up a bit going down that hill at the end of the straight.
I've found about 280 is the best I can do...that's coming out of turn 12 doing about 170 before I straighten her up and going through turn one at about 180, which is not that fast really. Turn one it seems has still got my measure.
