G'day
Most of our group passed highway patrol vehicles at anything up to 35km over posted limits on the day of the ride. And there were many hwp out, maintaining a high profile. All we got was a wave...
Except one of our groups was pulled up for breath testing on the way home Sunday between Dead Horse Gap and Khancoban - which startled them because they had been doing 110 in an 80 zone when pulled over!
Then the officer must have put the breathalyser away and pulled out the radar, because the last of our riders came over the same crest at 120 or so a little later, and was most offended that he got booked for 15 - 30 over the limit.
I'm a bit curious as to how fast those booked were actually travelling, and whether they were on the Saturday of the ride or on rides to and from the event?
Regards
Kevin
