Down with Scully
#8
I have clocked up 150000 kms traveling to and from Port Douglas QLD to VIC on 2 hyabusas from 1999 to present.
Just recently I was booked speeding 120 in 100 zone."The first time in 25 years of riding". While one of our finest was doing the deed I noted the other was off to the side taking pictures of my bike and myself,I asked if this was legal and the reply was "yes we don't need your permission and that they were keeping a data base on all fast bikes as there is a lot of runners since the new laws came in.Well surprise surprise.
While I am traveling it is quite easy to keep an eye on the road and avoid wild life and keep within 100/110 range with out checking dials
On the last trip down I was so worried about VICs cameras and the ridiculous 3 km leeway that as I was checking the dials for the umpteenth time I hit a roo on the Great Ocean Road.
This accident was cased by a revenue raising government's. I should be able to sue the bureaucrat that takes credit for introducing the new money raising schemes.
Sorry about the bitch had to get it off my chest.
