yeah we get what ya saying - a mode switch aint going to ya fix some dick twisting the throttle too much - but aside from that - having a change in the mapping on the fly could have its use. ie: town mapping for better fuel range? cruise one maybe for long trips? power one for twistys & suck?

blah - till I ride one I can't pass judgment on if its a gimmick or not.

Auto gear box's.... mmmm, dont the motogp bikes have some auto shifter? getting close to auto "Busa riders always count in three's.... 100, 200, 300"
