HAYABUSA KILLERS
#1
Here's a snippet I found...

Those ever-alert lads from Motor Cycle News (the UK-based bike magazine) report that Honda is working on two new machines that will draw heavily on technology being developed for the firm’s new V5 four-stroke GP race bike.

One is a 1000cc V4 superbike, the other is a Hayabusa-style V5 “hyberbike” styled on the line of Suzuki’s formidable Hayabusa. According to MCN, the former will replace Honda’s current SP-2 V-twin in two years’ time, when the World Superbike Championship rules will change to a simple 1000cc limit for all engine types (at the moment fours are limited to 750cc while twins can be up to 1000cc).

The magazine says its sources in Japan have confirmed that Honda has started work on a big-capacity (anything from 1200cc to 1300cc) “hyperbike" to replace the CBR1100XX Super Blackbird.
Its expected output is in the region of 149 kW (about 200 horsepower).

Sadly, no one has so far managed to come up with spy pictures of the new Hondas.
