Thats funny - I remember it being stated that if it turns yellow or orange that you are to move through the intersection as quickly as possible.
Now of course if your 50m off & hit the gas to make it through - well yeah thats a given - but if your say 10 ~ 20 - instead of hitting the skids I would get my way through the lights.
My reasons for this include:
Hitting front breaks for orange/yellow lights where its known there is a build up of oil & crap on the road can be very bad.
if its wet I'll do this for sure!!
I have heard many times of car drivers expecting a rider to go through them & have nearly hit them - in a lot of cases - the rider has been hit "Busa riders always count in three's.... 100, 200, 300"
