Well, thinking the Kwaka EL250 Eliminator was a reasonable buy, we arranged a bike trailer, tie downs and rope and finally left Canb around 12:30 (planned 8:30 depart but I had some work to finish in the AM)
Empty bike-trailer bouncing along...approaching Goulburn hear a loud bang and look up I can't see the ramp on the trailer anymore....evidently latches are POS and bolt in the (1) shackle went south so dragging its ass along the Federal Hwy. Latch it back, shortened the chain on my tow-bar lucky I had spare D-Shackle to secure it, but not happy with just one safety chain, so detour into Goulburn for a padlock, cursing dodgey rental place trailers costing $8.95 on top of my $46 hire fee.
Coming back Syd-> Canb downpour around Goulburn on eve 23/12 just incredible, fog, low visibility = try 5 hrs getting home from Nth Sydney partly keeping speed around 80-90kms thinking bike might move, rest bad weather.
Gave it a new oil & filter, check radiator level, tyres pressures, also plan change fork oil and up the viscosity a bit...so soft in the front end. Pull it out yesterday after we come back from Xmas @ coast, choke to start like normal and no go, fumey smell so I guess I flooded it, off choke full throttle...been 48 hrs still can;t start the bugger even after batt charge. Guess it off with the side covers, pillion seat, real seat, then tank so I can finally give the sparkies a look.
