ok good question Rod. From what I understand is the airbox mod helps more on higher speeds and somewhat negative on lower speeds (to 50km/h). My bike was serviced last by Luke at Hones and busababy complimented his work by making his bike tuned sweetly especially with Remus pipes. But he said with airbox mod he couldnt do the same, namely expect a less smooth throttle response on lower speeds with mod and cans. The flap on unmodified boxs supposedly assist bike in lower normal speeds. I have the BMC race filter which makes breathing plenty so mod may be bit of overkill. And when 75% of riding time is within city limits @ 60 perhaps no mod is better. I still havent made up my mind if I want to do it, but just considering whether to do it and hence my original question. Do I make any sense?
