Must be fun checking the tappets on the lower cylinder

Biggest piston donk I worked on was the Pratt & Whitney R 2800. 18 cylinder double row Wasp.
2,800 rated S/L HP (with water injection)
The first aero piston engine to have a 1:1 power to weight ratio so I'm told.

36 plugs to change & 36 tappets to check on every major service

Fuel consumption ?....forget it
