Improvement in training and roads/signage.If more police were cruising around seeing the day to day, the roads would be safer.Unfortunately more police in cars and better roads costs money,that is why the current methods are in place.The accounts department must run the police force,thats why discretion is rarely used and cameras film every booking,so the bosses can see if the officer upsold the fine,and not provided a warning which cost money and not made money.Its easy to say just don,t break the law,but the reality is that people do on occasion and they don,t always deserve to lose their ability to earn a living over it.I now it must be hard to have discretion when you're being bullshitted to all day and the job is alot easier when things are black and white.No one said their job is easy,they need to realise though, no one appreciates abuse of power as a means of making their job easier.Good people skills make up a large percentage of a successful persons knowledge base.If someone is reprimanded with respect they are more likely to accept their punishment.Any parent knows that.
